NSSF, the firearm industry trade association, appointed Derek Sevcik to its Board of Governors at its annual meeting to serve in the Board’s Media seat.
Sevcik is executive vice president, group publisher and operations, at Outdoor Sportsman Group (OSG) and oversees the media company’s 14 subscription-based magazines, more than 40 special-interest publications and all media extensions of those brands, including digital and social media, television and podcasts. Sevcik also oversees OSG’s consumer marketing, manufacturing and production departments.
Before his current role, Sevcik was senior vice president of finance and publishing at OSG.
“With 20 years’ experience in the outdoor media industry, Derek brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his role on the board,” said Joe Bartozzi, NSSF president and CEO. “Derek’s additional experience in finance and operations will also undoubtedly prove valuable assets in his contributions to NSSF and the industry it serves.”
