The 43rd Annual NSGA Management Conference & 9th Annual Team Dealer Summit is nearly sold out. As of February 27, more than 300 persons had registered for an event that will be held May 20-23 at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort and Spa in Bonita Springs, Fla.

For the last three years, the Conference/Summit has been sold out.

“The early wave of registrations for the Conference and Summit is gratifying,” said NSGA Chairman of the Board Bruce Ullery, president & CEO of MC Sports, Grand Rapids, Mich. “It shows that the sporting goods industry will enthusiastically support an event that brings retailers, dealers, manufacturers and others together for networking, education and serious dialog that addresses important issues.”

The Conference is sponsored by the Sport Finance Program from GE Money and endorsed by 16 industry organizations. Co-sponsors of the Team Dealer Summit are Mueller Sports Medicine, the Russell Athletic Group (Russell Athletic, Brooks Sports, Spalding, Bike, Moving Comfort, Huffy Sports, American Athletic, Inc.), Sporting Goods Dealer magazine, and the NSGA Team Dealer Division.

Ullery also announced that the 2008 Conference & Summit will be held May 4-7 at the Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs in Phoenix, Ariz., two weeks earlier in 2008.

“The speakers, panelists and workshop leaders will cover topics that past attendees have told us are important,” said NSGA President & CEO Jim Faltinek.

“If you haven’t sent in your registration yet, now is the time to act,” Faltinek said. “We have a block of rooms reserved at a special rate, and when that is sold out – which it will be – the rates will go up.”
