The National Ski Areas Association (NSAA) announced the appointment of ski industry veteran Wenda Huseman to fulfill a newly created role directing the Association’s education and conference initiatives.
Huseman has more than 18 years of experience in the ski industry working in Colorado and throughout North America. Prior to joining NSAA, Huseman worked for five years as an independent strategic planning and price consultant. Prior to that, she served eight years for Intrawest, based in Colorado, culminating at the executive level as regional vice president of marketing and sales. She also worked for Vail Resorts, both within the company’s corporate advertising department and for Keystone Resort, both also located in Colorado.
At NSAA, Huseman will focus on developing key educational programming for the Association’ s meetings and conferences, including the annual NSAA Winter Conferences and its National Convention and Tradeshow, this year to be held May 6-9 in San Antonio, Tex.
Huseman received at Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Iowa. Originally from Iowa, she learned to ski at Breckenridge after graduating from college and discovered a passion for skiing and Colorado. She and her husband have two children and live in Denver.
