The National Retail Federation welcomed the return of Ellen Davis as Senior Director, Strategic Communications. In her new role with the organization, Ms. Davis will be responsible for developing strategy and overseeing the execution of NRF's divisional PR programs. She will also assist in the development, management and implementation of NRFs integrated communication efforts.
Prior to returning to NRF, Ellen worked as a Managing Associate with the firm Chlopak, Leonard, Schechter and Associates where she managed the execution of high-profile crisis communications campaigns and produced long-term strategic communication plans for a variety of clients.
Ellen Davis originally joined the National Retail Federation in 2002 and was named Senior Director, Public Relations in 2005. She was responsible for setting NRF media relations strategy, acting as an NRF spokesperson, and conducting analysis of NRF research and industry trends.
Prior to joining NRF, Ms. Davis worked at a retail advertising agency in St. Louis. She also served as a media spokesperson for the Annual Better Homes & Gardens/Barbie mall tour in 2001.
Ellen graduated with a degree in communication from Millikin University in Decatur, IL.
