Nike, Inc. promoted Greg Hoffman, 35, Global Brand Creative Director, to Vice President of Nike's Global Brand Design.
Hoffman has more than 15 years of experience in design. He started with the company in 1992 as an intern and has held a variety of design positions, including Brand Design Director for Football, Brand Creative Director of the USA Region and Brand Global Creative Director. He has played a significant role in elevating Nike's brand standards in the marketplace through driving a singular brand image. His work and the work of the design teams he has led can be seen in key projects such as Air Max 360, World Football 06 and NIKE iD.
In his new role, Hoffman will report to Chief Marketing Officer Trevor Edwards and will be responsible for maintaining the strong focus on design that is a cornerstone of the Nike brand. He will also manage the visual identity of the core brand, including seasonal initiatives and consumer concepts.
Prior to joining Nike, Hoffman worked at the Walker Art Center as a communication and exhibit designer. Hoffman earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Minneapolis College of Art and Design.
