Newton Running has hired Creation, a global communications agency, as its public relations agency. Creation’s appointment follows an agency review that was prompted by Newton Running’s strong growth and expanded product line, which offers runners of all ability levels a better run experience.
“As we grow and our product line diversifies, we need the right communication support that will help us fulfill the full potential of the brand and tell the Newton story to new audiences,” said Mike Nesladek, vice president of marketing at Newton Running. “Creation not only offers experience that spans active lifestyle marketing, but they also have creative horsepower, cross-channel storytelling expertise and a local presence with the power of a global communication network behind them.”
The Newton Running account will be run out of Creation’s Denver, CO office, supported by the same team behind the award-winning, integrated Got chocolate milk? campaign. Newton Running further adds to the Denver team’s growing client roster that includes endurance sports properties such as sports marketing and athlete management firm Human Interest Group and the Super Sprint Triathlon Grand Prix.
“Newton joins a growing client portfolio of iconic brands at Creation and takes us a step further in realizing our vision of establishing Creation as a market leading, multi-disciplinary creative powerhouse in Denver and across the globe,” said Hugh Williams, senior vice president and head of endurance sports at Creation. “With our shared passion for active lifestyles and endurance sports we see tremendous opportunity to help Newton Running elevate its brand across a wider audience.”
Creation is part of the Interpublic Group of Companies.
