The American Apparel & Footwear Association (AAFA) will honor New Balance with its Company of the Year award during its 2023 American Image Awards. New Balance president and CEO Joe Preston will accept the honor.
The annual event will take place on April 25 at The Plaza Hotel in New York City City, which celebrates outstanding leaders and companies for excellence and achievement working in the apparel and footwear industry.
The organization will also honor Willy Chavarria as Designer of the Year, Harlem’s Fashion Row for Fashion Maverick and William McDonough for Eco-Steward of the Year.
The event benefits the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) Foundation, marking the seventh year of the organization’s philanthropic partnership.
