Nemo Equipment, Inc., the Nashua, NH manufacturer of inflatable tents, sleeping pads and backcountry accessories, has expanded its international distribution to Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxemburg, and Norway.

“Nemo has seen strong growth in the US and international markets. We’ve continued to double our sales year over year for the past four years and international sales have been a strong part of that growth,” saids John Faherty, director of sales. “We chose to enter Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxemburg, and Norway based on interest and the strength of the industry in those markets. We’ve met with many distributors and have chosen an excellent group that will compliment Nemo’s offerings and help us build a strong presence in these regions.”

Triple X has specialized in climbing products since 1999, said Stefan Donner, owner and founder of Triple X Outdoorsports.

“Recently, we began searching for new lines that are connected with the climbing and mountaineering markets,” Donner said. “When I saw Nemo and its products, the first thing I thought was, ‘this company is so innovative and fresh, this is what we need to sell,’” says In Canada,

Gilles Lapierre has also been retained to continue to grow Nemo’s Eastern Canadian territory. The new distributors add to Nemo’s existing channels in the UK, Canada, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Korea, and India.
