Neiman Marcus, Inc. reported same-store sales increased 5.5% in November.

Total sales gained 5.8% to $322 million.

In the four-week November period, comparable revenues in the Specialty Retail Stores segment, which includes Neiman Marcus Stores and Bergdorf Goodman, increased 6.4%. Revenue growth trends were the strongest in the company's stores in the Southeast, New York City and Texas. The merchandise categories in the Specialty Retail Stores segment that performed the strongest included women's shoes and accessories, designer handbags, jewelry and men's.

Comparable revenues at Neiman Marcus Direct in the four-week November period increased 2.0%. The top selling merchandise categories in the Direct Marketing segment included women's fine apparel and shoes, accessories and men's.
