Native Eyewear has launched in the Canadian marketplace and expanded its North American sales force as part of its 2010 strategic growth initiatives.

The eyewear company has doubled its presence in the South through a partnership with Baratti Marketing, increased its California, Nevada and Arizona outreach with the Blue Sky Group and has expanded efforts into the Southeast and New England through its partnership with regional leader, The Don Coffey Company.

Native also unrolled its first Canadian sales program in partnership with Guelph Brand Strategies.

We were thrilled at the response Natives 2010 product line generated at the outdoor industrys largest trade shows this winter and the increased demand for product is well-timed with our North American expansion efforts, said Kevin Karch, VP of sales for Native Eyewear. Native continues to explore the creative and technical limits of the industry, while offering quality for value when it matters most, and our customers are responding favorably.

Long time industry veteran and agency principle Clark Baratti leads Baratti Marketing out of Houston, Texas. Baratti will cover Texas, Ark., La., and Okla. for Native Eyewear, leveraging its expertise with other like-minded outdoor industry clients including Columbia, Wolverine and Merrell Apparel. Baratti reps will open new accounts, service existing accounts, and oversee the count and reorder business for Native.

Blue Sky Group will cover California, Nevada and Arizona, drawing from the expertise of principles Dom Schwartz and Fred Riley, both industry veterans. The partnership complements Blue Skys winter business and provides the agency with another extension into the bicycling category. Other clients include Spyder, Hot Chillys, Seirus, and Timbuk2.

Headed by David Battler, Guelph Brand Strategies will represent Native in Canada. Guelph is a distributor/sales agent of premium brand outdoor products including GoLite, Timbuk2, and Mad Bomber, and is the local leader of product expansion into the Canadian marketplace.

Through this strategic sales expansion, Native also continues its relationship with The Don Coffey Company. Native will work in partnership with Coffey to increase sales channels in the Southeast and New England and extend its product line into the hunting and fishing markets.
