Mountain Hardwear welcomes Cathy Wiedemer to its Rocky Mountain based media relations and communications team. Cathy comes to Mountain Hardwear from the Steamboat Ski Resort where she has worked for the last 17 years most recently as Public Relations Manager. Cathys background in the snow sports industry will be an advantage to Mountain Hardwear as the company debuts over 30 new ski and snowboard specific apparel styles this coming fall.
Cathy is an avid telemark skier and enjoys camping, travel, hockey, and mountain biking. She plays wing on Steamboats Chix with Stix hockey team and recently competed in the 24 hours of Moab mountain bike race.
In addition to expanding, the Mountain Hardwear PR team has moved to a bigger location in downtown Steamboat.
