Moving Comfort announced their 2011 Support Your Girls Campaign in honor of October National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. During the month of October, Moving Comfort will donate one dollar for every sports bra sold online at www.movingcomfort.com, as well as at the Rock'n'Roll Marathon expos and at participating retailers to the Feel Your Boobies Foundation. This is the third consecutive year for the brand's Support Your Girls Campaign and the first year that Moving Comfort has partnered with the Feel Your Boobies Foundation. To date, Moving Comfort has donated $20,000 for breast health awareness.

“The message and spirit of the Feel Your Boobies campaign falls directly in line with our efforts to connect with and empower young women to be proactive about their health,” says Julie Baxter, Vice President of Moving Comfort. “We are proud to partner with a progressive and fun team of women who truly embody what it means to be Fit and Powerful Women!”

Through grassroots efforts and social networking, Feel Your Boobies uses unexpected and unconventional methods to remind young women to “feel their boobies.” This campaign, with its edgy slogan, delivers a life-saving message, as Leigh Hurst, Founder of Feel Your Boobies, knows from personal experience. In 2004 she was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 33. Because she was in touch with her body, she was able to detect a lump that otherwise went unnoticed by doctors.

“Feel Your Boobies is so excited to be working with such a great company whose focus is on women and proactive healthy habits like exercise,” says Hurst. “Our partnership with Moving Comfort will not only allow us to reach more women with our life-saving reminder about being proactive with their own breast health, it will also provide us with financial support that will enable us to expand our campaign in a way that would not otherwise be possible.”
