Peter Novak, vice president of sales for Mountainsmith, has announced the appointment of Elsbeth Heller to the newly created position of Director of Sales Operations, effective immediately.
Elsbeth will have overall responsibility for all facets of Customer and Warranty Services and for evaluating cost savings procedures in the shipping department. She will also take on important sales management responsibilities including sales and inventory reports and the coordination between sales and marketing initiatives.
“This new position is integral to our ability to handle our current growth curve,” stated Novak. “Elsbeth comes very highly recommended and we look forward to the major contributions she can make to our sales force, dealer network, and in-house staff.”
Elsbeth brings a wealth of knowledge to the Mountainsmith table. She was most recently Director of Customer Service for Watermark Paddlesports. Before that, she held several positions of increasing responsibility with Schwinn in Boulder, Colorado starting in inside sales and customer service and ending as Director of Sales Operations and Customer Care. “This is my dream-come-true position,” said Heller. “I get to utilize all the skills that I have been able to develop over the years for a leading brand that I have long respected, and still get to live in beautiful Boulder, Colorado.”
