Wilson Sporting Goods has announced that Angus Moir, Wilson’s Business Director, Golf Europe has been appointed as Global Business Director, Wilson Golf, effective immediately. Angus will be responsible for leading the worldwide Wilson Sporting Goods golf business.

Angus has been Wilson Sporting Goods Business Director, Golf Europe since May 1997. During his time in this role, sales at Wilson Golf in Europe have doubled. Other positions he has held since 1989 are: Sales and Marketing Director, Product Marketing Manager, and Territory Sales Manager for Wilson Golf in Europe.

Prior to joining Wilson, Angus was a professional golfer, a graduate (B.B.A.) from the University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas, and a former Scottish Amateur Golf Champion. Angus, age 40, his wife, and two children will be relocating to Chicago.
