Mizu, the San Diego-based reusable hydration brand, hired three long-serving sales agencies covering the South East (Praelia Group), Colorado/New Mexico (GGI Sales) and Texarkana (Zulim Agency) to propel Mizu’s growth into the outdoor and lifestyle markets.

Praelia Group, owned and operated by Buck Rowlee and based in Wilmington, NC, is an accessory-focused agency and has been a leading force in the industry for 15 years, building solid relationships with retailers in the Southeast U.S. Mizu will be added to their brand assortment, which includes Electric, Superbrand, Roark, VSSL and Surface.

Axel Geittmann, founder of GGI Sales, first cracked into the industry managing retail. From there, he worked to launch GGI Sales and since has evolved it into a well-rounded and efficient team of five, covering Colorado and New Mexico. Other GGI brands include Stance, Smith Optics and Hippy Tree.

Zulim Agency comes to Mizu with a shared mission of protecting the environment. The Zulim Agency focuses on outdoor and multi-sport brands that are passionate about making a positive change. Ty Zulim, founder of Zulim Agency, moved from California three years ago to cover the Texarkana territory, representing the brands Rinsekit, Stance and Iron & Resin.

Kevin Hackett, global sales manager, Mizu, said, “We are always excited to bring aboard passion-driven and like-minded people to our mission of sustainability. The growth of the brand is explosive right now and this is reflected by the addition of three experienced, talented and diverse sales agencies.”
