Scott Sible, the president of the Merrell and Chaco brands at Wolverine World Wide, has decided to retire at the end of the year.
Sible took over at Merrell domestically in November of 2002 when he was promoted to VP and general manager for the U.S. Merrell performance footwear operations at WWW. He was previously VP of sales for Merrell. In October of 2005, Sible was given global responsibility for the brand.

Sible spent a brief amount of time as the president of Wolverine’s Outdoor Group from October of 2007 until March of this year, when Jim Zwiers was hired as president of the Group and Sible maintained his Merrell responsibilities. Zwiers is expected to assume Sible’s duties as president of Merrell. Sible has also served as a member of the board of directors for the Outdoor Industry Association.
