Mcmillan Fiberglass Stocks has hired Richard Aitken as its new production manager.
Aitken’s responsibilities include overseeing planning, quality, coordination, and control of Mcmillan’s manufacturing processes.
Before joining Mcmillan, Aitken worked at Bechtel Corporation for 20 years in the construction operations and maintenance support group for nuclear power plants. He also worked for the department of defense at Luke air force base and co-founded Shoot the Moon, an apparel company specializing in women’s outdoor shooting attire.
Aitken has won numerous multi-state shooting championships in high power and small-bore silhouette. He was a member of the USA Shooting Team, where he won eight national titles. He is also a competitive archer with a silver medal in the World Archery 3-d Pop-Up Championship and holds a title in the 3-d Triple Crown championship.
“Richard’s experience in both business operations and shooting is a tremendous asset to our company,” said Kelly Mcmillan, president of Mcmillan group international.
