Marker will be introducing two “Audiorama Systems” into its 05-06 helmet line. The basic system, available in the Marker M3 and M2 models, will feature a standard audio jack compatible with MP3,IPOD and most portable music systems. The deluxe Marker Audiorama System, found in both the M3 and M2 models, offers music input, Bluetooth wireless phone technology that is built into the ear piece for hands free phone use and an input design for the Ortovox Avalanche beacon receiver.
By partnering with the Ortovox, the Marker M3 becomes an ideal solution for backcountry enthusiasts. It features a separate audio jack that is compatible with any Ortovox avalanche transceiver. With the specifically modified jack, the Ortovox X1, M2, or F1 beacon can be securely plugged into the helmet for stereo sound, ultimately increasing the level of safety for anyone skiing or riding in avalanche prone terrain.
In goggles, Marker continues its exclusive partnership with Intercast, the world leader in optics design and technology, in the development of the NXT lens, which will be available in the Marker Striker goggle collection.
