Swiss outdoors brand Mammut on Friday announced a new regional sales and marketing office in Denver, CO. After assessing customer and consumer needs in North America, the brand is excited to branch closer to many key accounts as well as consumers utilizing life-saving avalanche gear. The office will be located in the RiNo neighborhood of Denver, opening in February 2019.
The brand’s interim managing director, Kris Kuster, will continue to lead North American sales and marketing endeavors and be based out of regional Denver office. Kuster has been supporting the North American team on an interim basis since October 2018, joining from the Swiss Mammut office where he served for as managing director, Switzerland.
John Sullivan, CFO/COO, appointed in mid-2018, will continue to lead finance, administration and operations out of the North American headquarters in Burlington, VT. Sullivan joined Mammut from his position as VP of finance and control at a large European manufacturer, with a mission for sustainable immediate and future growth; also, a targeted focus for his role at Mammut.

To support this position of growth, Mammut also announced the appointment of a new key accounts manager, Josh Manson. Manson joins Mammut most recently from Nitro Snowboards, where he was instrumental in growing the business over the last four years. Manson also served as a multi-line sales representative in the Rocky Mountain region for the past 12 years with brands including DC shoes, Zeal Optics and Fox Racing. He will be focused on supporting Mammut’s key account business including REI, Backcountry, MEC and more.
