Mammut Sports Group AG has appointed Manuel Kronberger as the new country manager for Austria, leading strategy and operations for the region.
Kronberger comes to Mammit from Eisbär Sportmoden where he was head of global sales. Before that, he was a senior key account manager at Adidas for over eight years after a short stint at Sport 2000.
“With Manuel leading our efforts, we look forward to sustainable growth and expansion in the Austrian market,” the company said in a LinkedIn post.
Mammut has been active in Austria for 35 years and, with the recent reorganization of its global sales, is enhancing its market presence.
“Manuel is a highly experienced and empathetic leader. I am excited about our future collaboration and the direct support for Austrian retailers with our dedicated team,” said Patrick Schmollinger, OLY, head of Central Europe.
Joining Kronberger are Hermann Eder and Christian Holzer. Eder has worked for Mammut in Austria for decades, while Holzer “brings valuable experience from the outdoor industry.” Both Eder and Holzer manage sales from the company’s new showroom in Salzburg.
