Mammut has appointed veteran outdoor brand representative Tim Augustinowicz as their new Northeast territory manager. Joining the seasoned sales force of the Mammut Sports Group, Augustinowicz will bring his years of experience to a rapidly growing sales territory.
Based in Unity, NH, Tim brings 27 years of technical outdoor equipment and footwear sales experience to the Mammut Sports Group sales team. Covering all of New England, Augustinowicz will be yet another Mammut road warrior, servicing all existing and new retail partners.
“We’re excited to have someone with Tim’s depth of experience on the team said Bill Supple, CEO of Mammut Sports Group USA. “He will bring a lot to the increasingly strategic decisions we need to make for the Mammut brand in order to support our existing dealers who have been with us from early on, and establish new retail partner relationships.”
Tim’s passion for all things Nordic Skiing landed him his first outdoor industry job with Fischer Skis in 1985, which served as a stepping-off point for his long career. He has served on the board of directors of the Eastern Outdoor Reps Association and is a member of the Professional Ski Instructors of America, certified both in Nordic and Telemark instruction. When reached on the road, Augustinowicz commented, “I’ve been a fan of the Mammut brand for years, and I am especially looking forward to working with their team to continue to grow the brand in the Northeast.”
When he is not busy logging miles on the road, Augustinowicz enjoys spending time with his two daughters, and maintains a motocross track at his farm. In addition to his passion for skiing, he races vintage motorcycles around New England and continues to perform and record original music.
Augustinowicz will be joining the Mammut Sports Group USA immediately and will be servicing accounts in Maine, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, Connecticut and Rhode Island.
