The Swedish outdoor company Lundhags hired Henrik Ottosson, currently Business Area Manager clothing for Haglöf, as its CEO.

Ottosson has spent the last 14 years working in senior positions within sales, marketing, product and category development at Haglöf. Prior to Haglöf, Henrik spent four years working for Stadium, including a position as Store Manager.

Lundhags has its roots in shoemaking and hiking boots. In recent years, the company has developed a broad product range of backpacks, clothing and Nordic skates.

“I am very pleased that we have managed to attract such an experienced person to Lundhags. Henrik will bring the leadership and skills we need in order to build an even more comprehensive and professional company within the international market. Henrik is also a very positive and good person, honest, solid and has a strong performance engine,” says Ole Oftedal, Chairman of the Board.

Henrik Ottosson himself is also positive about the future of Lundhags.

He said, “I see Lundhags as one of the industry ‘strongest brands a diamond marked by quality, function and tradition. It is a great company with a good position, but also with a unique opportunity to develop. Lundhags has now reached a critical level with a turnover of approx. SEK 100 million, which will more than double in only two or three years time. In order to take the next step in product development, category development and sales, it needs considerable commitment with a lot of exciting work. The way I see it, there is a tremendous amount of things to be done in a positive direction!”

Jan-Anders Lundhag, present CEO, takes a time out from the company but will be available for special projects within the company. Henrik Ottosson starts at Lundhags from 1st of May.
