lucy is opening its first Portland-area store in the Pearl District's Henry building at 1039 NW Couch Street. The 1900-square-foot retail space is on the ground floor of the mossy green 15-story residential luxury tower in the renewed Brewery Blocks neighborhood. The five-block, 1.7-million-square-foot area of new and renovated mixed-use buildings has become a center of activity in Portland's Pearl District and is home to other national retailers.

“We are excited to open our first Portland store in the Brewery Blocks. The Pearl District is the ideal home for lucy,” said Mike Edwards, president and CEO of lucy. “We're eager to offer our great-fitting workout wear to the active, stylish women of Portland.”

The Portland retailer also announced the opening of a store at The Shops at Mission Viejo, in Mission Viejo, CA, the second lucy store in Orange County.

These sister stores bring lucy's constellation of locations throughout the West Coast up to 14. Existing locations include four Southern California stores in Santa Monica, Studio City, Newport Beach, and Manhattan Beach; two Bay Area locations in Burlingame and Palo Alto; two Seattle Area stores; two Arizona stores in Scottsdale and Tucson; and two remaining locations in Houston and Sacramento. In addition to today's openings, lucy is planning to open one more store by the end of this year, for 15 stores in total.
