Lowa has opened a new in-store shop in Summit Hut’s new Tuscon, AZ location.
The store will debut this coming Saturday and Sunday, October 10-11 during the store’s two-day grand opening celebration. The 15×15 innovative corner space combines six panels of branded graphics and product display shelves and a walking path bridge for testing Lowa’s as well as entertainment and education via a TV monitor with its continuous loop. The end result is a shopping experience that will greatly enhance the consideration process for purchasing Lowa boots.
Summit Hut has been locally owned and operated for more than 45 years and it is their ability to embrace a combination of brick and mortar, on-line presence and stellar customer service that has sealed their success. “Lowa has a successful 19-year history of working with The Summit Hut. Their experience and reputation in boot fitting has resulted in many, many happy Lowa customers that have just the right product for their individual outdoor activities,” commented Peter Sachs, general manager of Lowa in the U.S. “Owners Dana and Jeremy Davis have merchandised their new store in a way that creatively allows customers to shop by brand and Lowa is proud to have been chosen as their premier outdoor footwear partner.”
Lowa’s concept department features branded product display panels with angled tops reflecting Lowa’s climbing heritage. Customers can test shoes on the bridged walking path simulating up and downhill terrain and uneven surfaces. The continuous loop film gives customers insight into Lowa’s manufacturing and athletes. Other components include a fit bench, fit stool and stacking tables for shoe care accessories and replacement laces.
The new store is at 5251 E. Speedway. The town’s mayor will kick off the grand opening festivities with a public ribbon-cutting ceremony followed by a wide variety of celebratory offers. For more details, view a complete event schedule at www.summithut.com.
