From the ATC, All Terrain, Series comes the new midcut Kirano GTX and the Kody GTX in both mid and low cut, all available in specially lasted mens and womens versions.
These boots offer the personal preference option of full Nubuck (Kirano) or a combination Nubuck and Cordura (Kody). The color pallet for the Kirano focuses on such stand-out colors as yellow/grey and red/asphalt, while the Kody offers more traditional, but current, colors such as taupe/sand and sepia/olive.
Designed for weekend adventurers who want functional footwear with out-of-the-box comfort, these boots are lighter weight than traditional hiking boots and geared to day hiking. They excel for on-trail use or hiking short distances while carrying light day- or hydration packs. The supportive yet flexible uppers are easy to break in and can comfortably go from shop floor to trail.
The three models utilize Gore-Tex linings for waterproofness and breathability. They all feature LOWAs proprietary Vibram Vialta Pro outsole/midsole package for torsional stability with a bi-injected PU midsole for comfort and cushioning underfoot. This lightweight and easy-to-walk-in rubber sole developed by LOWA and Vibram improves traction and increases stability for casual walking.
