L.L. Bean Inc. plans to hire roughly 30 to 40 seasonal workers for
its Freeport flagship store and outlet center to greet the summer
tourist season.

L.L. Bean is seeking candidates for overnight shifts that occur between 8
p.m. and 8 a.m., as well as cashiers and sales positions in the
camping, travel, men’s and women’s departments, according to job
advertisements in the Maine Sunday Telegram. The news was reported by the Portland Press Herald.

L.L. Bean said the total number of workers to be hired will depend on the number of people it rehires from past employment at the company.
