Outdoor apparel company Livsn Designs hired Abby Hollis as product manager and head of sustainability.
In the newly created role, Hollis will lead the development of new products, refine the product range, audit the company’s environmental impact, and advance its sustainability standards and goals.
“We’re incredibly proud to have Abby joining the team, and I’ve no doubt that her passion and expertise will bring Livsn to the next level,” said company Founder Andrew Gibbs-Dabney. “She’ll not only be working directly with me on product design, but she’ll also be heading up our ongoing efforts in sustainability.”
Hollis founded Ozark Fibershed, a non-profit that develops regional fiber systems to build ecosystem and community health. She holds a BFA in Fibers and Design for Sustainability from the Savannah College of Art and Design. She has studied textile systems in Arkansas, Georgia, Hong Kong, India, and Peru, building cultural literacy and an understanding of the global impact of fashion.
“I’m endlessly grateful to have found a home at a company that cares about the right stuff and for the opportunity to work in the spaces that I care most about,” said Hollis.
