<span style="color: #808080;">Two hikers missing for five days around Mount Baldy and Cucamonga Peak in California’s San Gabriel Mountains were found alive after rescuers tracked their footprints to their camp Wednesday. A search-and-rescue helicopter spotted the pair at a campfire and lifted them to safety having been missing for five days.

Eric Desplinter, 33, of Chino Hills and Gabrielle Wallace, 31, of Rancho Cucamonga had gone missing Saturday afternoon as they were heading toward Cucamonga Peak. Desplinter is an experienced hiker, but the two had limited supplies of food and water. The pair rationed their food and drank water through a LifeStraw. They were reunited with their families and required no treatment at a local hospital.
