The Life is good Company, the Boston-based apparel and lifestyle brand has entered into a multi-year licensing agreement with Synergy Sportz (d/b/a Yukon Charlie’s) to produce and distribute a wide variety of Life is good branded Outdoor Fun and Games products throughout the United States and Canada.


The first new collection of products will be available in June, 2012 in time for the Fall 2012 season.  It will be distributed through Life is good retail stores, Life is good’s online store, over 100 independently-owned Genuine Neighborhood Shoppes that carry a full line of Life is good products, as well as new and existing Life is good specialty retail customers. Initially, the licensed products will include the following categories and offerings:



  • Backyard:  Bocce, horseshoes, croquet, washer toss, and ladder ball

  • Beach:  Boogie Boards, paddle ball, water balls, beach balls, flying discs, and soft pack coolers

  • Winter:  Sleds, snow tubes, snow shoes and poles.

Subsequent products will include badminton, volleyball, beach chairs and umbrellas, snorkel sets, kites, snowboards, and much more.


The agreement includes the commitment to a strong collaborative effort in product development, sales and marketing between the two organizations.   In addition, understanding the central importance of Life is good’s social mission, Synergy Sportz will provide significant support for the Life is good Kids Foundation, whose mission is to help kids overcome life-threatening challenges through joyful, transformative play. With the agreement, Synergy Sportz becomes a proud sponsor of the Foundation, providing annual contributions and hands-on management of the popular games component of the Life is good Festival, a nationally-recognized outdoor event and major fundraiser for the Foundation.
