Nestor's Sporting Goods in Whitehall Township, PA, is closing after 65 year in business. The store will close in June to make way for a Buckman's Ski and Snowboard Shop.

Buckman's has stores in Muhlenberg Township, Berks County; King of Prussia, Montgomery County; and Doylestown, Bucks County. The store will open in Nestor's location in October.

Nestor's started in 1946 as a small fishing shop in northern
Whitehall Township. In 1952, the store moved to 2510 MacArthur Road and
the business later expanded to other outdoor activities such
as backpacking, skiing, kayaking and snowboarding.

Nestor's opened a location in Quakertown in 1997, but closed it in 2006 to focus on its Whitehall store.
