Kwik Goal hired Richard Hartis as the company's technical director. The maker of soccer goals, bench shields, and training equipment said Hartis will be the senior advisor to management regarding the latest trends in soccer coaching, and will consult with Kwik Goal management on all coaching related projects and marketing outreach. In addition, Hartis will be working directly with Kwik Goal's research and development department on new product offerings.

In addition to Richard's new position at Kwik Goal, he will be joining the first team coaching staff of Norwegian first division club Molde FK, under newly appointed manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Richard most recently spent ten years with Manchester United as the club's Senior Academy Goalkeeper Coach. On numerous occasions, Richard acted as First Team Goalkeeper Coach. Most notable was the 56 game stint during the 2007/2008 season's successful drive to the Barclay's Premier League and UEFA Champions League titles.
Prior to joining Manchester United, Richard was on the coaching staffs of Sheffield United, Leeds United, and Leicester City. He also coached the men's and women's programs at Mercyhurst College in Erie, PA and was awarded the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Men's Division II Coach of the Year award in 1995.
