KUIU, a manufacturer of ultralight performance hunting gear, announced the release of its hot weather Gila Series featuring an odor-resistant treatment and UPF 50+ sun protection rating. The collection includes the Gila Long Sleeve Crew, Hoodie and Neck gaiter.
The Gila collection offers comfort and sun protection through cool-touch fiber level technology. The fabric keeps the wearer cool and dry by quickly wicking and evaporating moisture away from the skin while the fiber-level technology is built to last and won’t wash out or lessen over time.

The Gila Hoodie and Long Sleeve Crew offer a UPF 50+ sun protection rating and weigh 6.7 oz and 5.8 oz, respectively. Extended cuffs and layering thumbholes provide added coverage when seeking protection from the sun, while the dart shoulder design and flatlock seams cut down on unnecessary weight. Weighing in at 1 oz the Gila Neck Gaiter is comprised of 92 percent polyester and 8 percent spandex knit which provides a breathable, odor-resistant and cooling experience.
