Kokatat hired Lisa Beckstead to the Sales and Marketing team as their new Public Relations and Field Marketing gal. Working closely with Kokatats Marketing Communications Manager, Marta Miller, Lisa oversees Kokatat sponsorship and donation opportunities, provides copy, and is the go-to for public and media relations. Lisa will also spend time in the field attending paddling events.
Lisa has had a long time relationship with Kokatat as an athlete ambassador and comes to Kokatat from Lotus Designs, where she worked as the Brand Coordinator. Michael Duffy, Sales and Marketing Manager for Kokatat Watersports Wear, is excited to have Lisa team up with Kokatat again, “We are very happy to have Lisa be part of the Kokatat team in a new role; her experience, enthusiasm, and positive attitude create a great synergy with our existing sales and marketing crew.”
As a long time professional kayaker, Lisa has years of experience in the paddlesports market and brings industry knowledge with her as well. “I am looking forward to having this opportunity to work closely with such a great group of people. My new position at Kokatat will allow me the opportunity to continue to work and grow in an industry that has been such a huge part of my life.”
