Atomic Ski announced the addition of AJ Kitt to its
talented roster of on-hill ambassadors. Currently Jeep King of the Mountain NASTAR Official Pacesetter, Kitt will ski on Atomic skis, boots, and bindings throughout the upcoming season.
Kitt is best known for jump-starting a stagnant U.S. Men's Ski Team with
a
dramatic victory in the opening race of the 1991 World Cup season. His
list
of achievements includes a World Championship Bronze medal, four World
Cup
victories, and four National Championships. Kitt was also the first
American
to ever ski in four Winter Olympic Games.
“Like Atomic, my affiliation with NASTAR has been pretty extensive and
it
makes sense to round out the relationship by skiing on the product,”
said
Kitt. “I always like to be skiing on the best equipment out there, so
Atomic
was an easy choice,” Kitt added.
As NASTAR's official pacesetter, Kitt is currently traveling to compete
against certified pacesetters from each Jeep King of the Mountain NASTAR
resort across the country.
“Having AJ on the Atomic team is a great addition to our roster plus,
we're both from the same home town,” said Ed Guzman, Atomic's North
American
Race Director.
