Kathmandu, the New Zealand travel and adventure brand, announced new sales representation in the Pacific Northwest, Rockies, and Southwest by The Alta Group, Urban Outdoors, and Pacific Crest Trading accordingly.
“We have assembled some of the most experienced and professional sales reps in the business and we look forward to working with them to build the Kathmandu brand in North America,” said Bill Chandler, VP sales and marketing, Kathmandu NA.
The Alta Group, based in Seattle, will be representing the brand in Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana. The Alta Group also represents Petzl, Nikwax, Adventure Medial Kits, and Oboz.
Urban Outdoors will represent Kathmandu in Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, and New Mexico. Founded in 2016 by Nick Patston, Urban Outdoors services a mix of brands in the tactical and outdoor markets including Propper International, Nightstick, Brooking Industries, Optic Nerve, Qalo, and Croakies.
Pacific Crest Trading will represent Kathmandu in California, Nevada, Arizona and Hawaii. Founded by Dan Miller in 1998, the Truckee, CA-based agency represents Cascade Designs, Gregory packs, Darn Tough, and Oboz.
