Kanye West announced the appointment of veteran sneaker designer Steven Smith, head of Donda Industrial Design, the rapper’s latest design venture.
Smith previously held the title of executive designer for Yeezy. He left Adidas for Yeezy in 2016.
His earliest projects in the Adidas Yeezy line included the Yeezy Boost 700 and the Yeezy Powerphase.
Smith has also worked for Nike, New Balance, Reebok, Fila, and Keen. Among his creations are the Reebok InstaPump Fury and New Balance 1500, 574, and 997.
