Johnson Health Tech, Inc., manufacturer of Matrix Fitness, Vision Fitness, AFG, Horizon Fitness and the Livestrong line of fitness equipment, today announced its Q3 results ending September 30, 2012, revealing a 8.7 percent growth in global sales over the corresponding 2011 time period. In North America, the company’s commercial brand, Matrix, has experienced 12.7 percent growth year-to-date, while the retail business has increased 12.9 percent.

“Our Matrix brand continues to experience strong momentum in the commercial market across all of our global subsidiaries,” said Vice President of Global Marketing Mark Zabel. “Our expanding product portfolio in the cardio and strength segments will contribute to continued growth through the end of the year.” Matrix recently launched the Versa™ strength line and announced the acquisition of Magnum Fitness. ”The recent launch of the new Ascent Trainer® platform, Suspension Elliptical™ trainer, and ClimbMill™ in the cardio segment has been well received by our customers as we continue to see sales growth.” Year-to-date, Matrix commercial sales have increased 20 percent, worldwide.
