The North Face x Publish take us inside “Earth’s Core.”

For the second installment of their ongoing partnership, The North Face x Publish announced today the launch of their next footwear collaboration.

Last year, they took you on a journey through a “Midnight in Antarctica,” debuting three classic North Face silhouettes, featuring cool tones and materials to withstand arctic temperatures. This year is a completely new expedition, venturing beneath the planet’s surface to the fiery depths of “Earth’s Core.”

“We’re excited to explore and celebrate another fascinating terrain of our planet, via this capsule collection. Partnering with North Face allows Publish to add our street sensibilities to a different genre of fashion, aligning visual design with practicality.” — Jill McArthur, Director of Partnerships & Marketing at Publish Brand.

“Earth’s Core” unites Publish’s design aesthetic with two North Face silhouettes: the Litewave Ampere II HC and the ThermoBall Traction Mule II, both in vibrant warm tones and lightweight materials for breathable trekking functionality.

The Litewave Ampere II HC hybrid trainer, features a sock-like stretch neoprene mesh construction for ankle support and debris protection, heel and toe cap protective no-sew TPU overlays, OrthoLite footbed and UltrATac rubber outsole with lugs/flex grooves for traction.

The ThermoBall Traction Mule II features the PrimaLoft insulated slip-on with a grippy rubber sole constructed of 40 percent recycled materials, compressible lightweight ThermoBall insulation and 100-percent recycled/water-resistant PET ripstop uppers.

The Earth’s Core collection is sold at select retailers in the U.S., worldwide and at Publish Brand. Photos, video and content courtesy The North Face and Publish
