Inov-8 named Christian Triquet as interim executive of its Canadian branch extension of the North American subsidiary.

Triquet has 30 years of experience in the sporting goods industry, with strong knowledge of the outdoor performance footwear segment. His most recent role as president of Merrell in Canada, has demonstrated his ability to build great brand reputation in this sector. Prior to this, he acted as sales marketing – GM with Merrell – Karhu Cross Country, and earlier on in his career was Canadian sales marketing manager with Fischer Ski – Leki – Tecnica. In total Triquet will bring to the Inov-8 brand close to 24 years of knowledge and expertise in the performance footwear category.

In 2015, the ski apparel brand Descente took an 80 percent stake in Inov-8 with objectives to grow the brand rapidly in a very competitive and on-trend market.
