For providing navigation on a hike without having to look at your phone or watch

Three words: navigation enabled footwear. This spin on GPS comes to fruition through a pair of Hi-Tec smart shoes, designed in collaboration with Lechal, that directs its users via short vibrational patterns to a desired destination. Pods located in the footwear vibrate codes to turn left, right, stop, turn around or notify wearers that they’ve arrived at the destination. It eliminates being distracted from the view of the journey. The Navigator footwear also works offline, records steps and distance traveled and comes in the body of a waterproof boot with Michelin soles.
