Incrediwear, a manufacturer of wearable anti-inflammatory accessories, announced its first partnership with the EF Education First Pro Cycling Team (EF Pro Cycling). The year-long partnership as the official recovery wear supplier will provide riders from the international pro team access to Incrediwear’s sleeves, braces and wraps.
“Maximizing performance is all about recovery. Incrediwear’s innovative technology helps minimize the inflammatory process, allowing the riders to feel fresh, loose and without the expected DOMS,” said Incrediwear Founder, Jackson Corley. “Helping one of the best cycling teams in the world to be even better is what we’re all about. I, and Incrediwear, are excited to be part of the EF team.”
The 29 EF Pro Cycling riders will represent 16 nationalities in 2020 and will compete in the UCI WorldTour circuit participating in races such as the Tour de France, Tour of Yorkshire, Tour de Suisse, as well as popular amateur cycling events around the world.
“Having known about Incrediwear for a few years and seen and understood their tech up close, I think it’s fantastic we have them on board as a recovery partner this year and look forward to working with them,” said Matt Rabin, Head of Physical Therapy for EF Pro Cycling.
Unlike compression devices, Incrediwear material is embedded with carbon and germanium, semiconductor elements that release negative ions when stimulated by body heat. The negative ions activate cellular vibrations that increase blood flow and speed. Increasing circulation helps bring more oxygen and nutrients to the target area, which optimizes the body’s natural healing process and accelerates recovery, said the brand.
