Implus, the provider of athletic, fitness and outdoor accessories, announced a strategic partnership with Interex Industries Inc. to distribute Stabil performance footwear traction products across all Canadian territories for the independent retail and safety and industrial markets.
Stabil, the maker of STABILicers, was recently acquired by Implus and integrated into Implus’ portfolio of leading traction brands including Yaktrak, SnowTrax by Yaktrax, Wintertrax and ICEtrekkers. Interex has been the distributor for Yaktrax since 2000.
“This partnership with Interex Industries will enable Implus to better service our customers and further broaden the distribution of Stabil in North America,” said Steve Couder, vice president of sales for Implus Outdoor Brands. “We look forward to working with Interex to continue the growth of all of our outdoor brands in Canada.”
Stabil will join the Interex Industries’ portfolio of Implus Outdoor brands, which the Canadian company has distributed in full since 2015. Headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, Interex Industries has been serving retailers across Canada for nearly 50 years in the outdoor, shoe, lifestyle, sporting goods and industrial market channels.
