In celebration of International Women’s Day, Igloo and Warner Bros. Consumer Products, in partnership with DC, released a new Playmate cooler featuring Wonder Woman-inspired artwork from L.A. artist Robin Eisenberg.
The limited-edition Igloo Wonder Woman x Robin Eisenberg Playmate Pal, in a limited quantity of 100 units produced, are numbered, signed and feature a custom hangtag signed by Eisenberg.
“Working with Robin Eisenberg, Warner Bros. and D.C. on this limited-edition Playmate has been an incredible experience,” said Alyssa Falso, category manager, Playmates and Partnerships, Igloo. “Robin’s body-positive piece inspired by this world-famous Super Hero radiates uplifting confidence. To celebrate International Women’s Day, we’re excited to offer our consumers a cooler that showcases Robin’s inspiring artwork and keeps refreshments chilled as it accompanies them on their adventures.”
The artwork’s vibrant color palette depicts a laidback Wonder Woman-striking a confident pose. D.C. featured Eisenberg’s original Wonder Woman-inspired illustration on its new variant cover for its “Wonder Woman 1984” comic book.
With a 7-quart capacity, the Playmate Pal keeps up to nine 12-ounce cold.
“I always hope to create art that people might be able to see themselves in,” said Eisenberg. “I love combining aliens and otherworldly environments with familiar, relatable moments, and I created this piece with that same idea in mind, and with the idea that strength and beauty can come in many forms.”
Eisenberg works in Los Angeles and has created art for brands including Vans, Adobe, Netflix, Apple, Adult Swim, Thrasher, HBO, Doc Johnson, and VEVO.
