Hypebeast will unveil its first U.S. flagship building in the heart of Manhattan’s Chinatown on 41 Division Street this week.
The approximately 25,000-square-foot space spanning seven floors will house all facets of the digital-first lifestyle platform’s business, including the HBX New York flagship store, Hypebeans café, event space, and its office headquarters.
The store opens on June 17.
On the ground floor, the space will transform from a neighborhood “courtyard” into an event space, an exhibition or a pop-up. It will also be home to the first Hypebeans coffee shop in the U.S.
The second floor will offer a curation of over 40 brands from both established and up-and-coming menswear, womenswear and lifestyle labels.
The third floor will feature an innovation space for cultural activations and brand pop-ups. The remaining floor space will serve as Hypebeast’s headquarters in North America for its over 100 employees.
