Hiviz Shooting Systems hired David Tinch as director of engineering. He will lead the Hiviz product development team driving innovation and firearms sight technology.
“Dave Tinch is a remarkable engineer. He has come to us with significant experience and skills in many technical disciplines including opto-mechanical, materials science, firearms and accessories, and strong engineering management capabilities,” said Hiviz COO/CFO Mike Thomas. “He is a great manager and team member and I am delighted to have him leading our engineering activities.”
Tinch added, “I’m very excited to join the Hiviz team. I’ve been involved in the shooting sports industry as a hobbyist for many years. It’s a great opportunity for me to bring my engineering background to an industry that I’m so passionate about.”
Hiviz Shooting Systems manufactures light-gathering fiber optic sights, tritium sights, recoil pads and accessories for the shooting industry.
