Helly Hansen opened its first store in Denver, CO, in the Market Station development. The company, which was recently acquired by VF Corp. spin-off Kontoor Brands, said the new 3,000-square-foot space enables the brand to directly connect with, serve and support the Denver market with a wide range of technical ski, outdoor and lifestyle apparel and footwear.
“Helly Hansen holds nearly 150 years of knowledge and expertise creating performance-driven apparel and has developed lasting professional partnerships with numerous athletes, teams, mountain guides, search and rescue organizations, and ski resorts around the world, including Vail Resorts,” the company said in a media release.
As part of the brand’s strategy to grow its presence in key markets throughout North America, Helly Hansen also opened new stores in Newport, RI and Vancouver, BC. Helly Hansen operates 13 brand stores in the U.S. and Canada, including locations in Boulder and Breckenridge, CO.
“We’re excited to open our first store in Denver, a city that has long been at the heart of outdoor adventure,” said Paul Gillen, VP of DTC, at Helly Hansen. “This store is a key step in our commitment to the Denver community and the wider outdoor and winter sports market. Expanding into strategic locations like Denver allows us to deepen our connection with existing customers while also introducing Helly Hansen to new audiences.”
