Hansons-Brooks Original Distance Project Runner Bobby Curtis finished as the runner up at the 2015 U.S.ATF Cross Country Championships in Boulder, CO. The performance secured a spot on the U.S. team for the IAAF World Cross Country Championships.
 
In addition, Brooks runner Ryan Vail finished fourth in the men’s open race to also punch his ticket to Guiyang, China, where the world championships will be held on Mar. 28. Vail ran 36:55 while Curtis clocked 36:48, just a few seconds ahead of him. He was joined by fellow Hansons-Brooks teammates Jake Riley (38:45), Brendan Gregg (38:49) and Mohamed Hrezi (38:56). The Hansons-Brooks men placed first in team scoring.
 
Brooks Beast Garrett Heath demonstrated his versatility on the 12K cross country course, crossing the line in 38:55 today. Heath won the 4K in at the Great Edinburgh Cross Country International Challenge last month in 12:11 to claim his repeat victory over Kenya’s Japhet Korir.
 
From the Beasts women, Angela Bizzarri and Katie Mackey tackled the 8-kilometer course finishing 7th in 28:33 and 21st in 29:57, respectively. Bizzarri finished third at the recent U.S.ATF Club Cross Country Championships.
