ground inked a new partnership with with the international guide service, Mountain LinK LLC. ground recently celebrated it’s third birthday and views this new relationship as one of the brands' major achievements.

Ryan Clark, ground’s VP of Sales and Marketing said, “We are proud and honored to have been approached by Mountain Link. Working collectively with such an elite and unparalleled group of professional mountain guides has us looking forward to all the possibilities.”

Mountain Link LLC. founded by Robert Link was originally a subsidiary of Mountain Hardwear. Recently Robert took sole control of the company.

Robert Link commented about the start of his relationship with ground by saying, “As professional mountaineers and instructors the rigors of our work demand the best equipment available. I was aware ground™ was making good gear but when many of our guide staff started wearing and asking for it, I looked into the brand more. When I saw clients show up with their product I knew I needed to try some myself. Whether it is their work with eVENT or Schoeller or PrimaLoft I am now convinced there is no gear finer. I have never been so impressed by a clothing company’s ability to differentiate themselves thru innovation and superior products as ground. We demand the most technical, solid and advanced garments available and ground™ was able meet those needs.”

Luke Pezzimenti, ground’s VP of research, design and development, said “We have spent the last three years trying to stay ahead of the curve and by collaborating with Mountain Link we will add a whole new dimension to our development process. Our relationship with Mountain Link will be mutually beneficial. Innovation is greatly aided when design can draw from a pool of professionals like this.”

Tucker Hacking, ground’s president and founder added, “I am excited about this new relationship. We had been working with several of Link’s guides and had heard only the best about him. Robert is a great guy with a top notch organization and world class guides. I believe this is a win-win for ground™ and Mountain Link. It is the start of a great business relationship and a personal friendship. We both share similar goals. We both believe success requires differentiating ourselves from the rest of the pack, and doing it better than anyone else.”
