Gregory Mountain Products hired Stephanie Romanella as marketing coordinator. Romanella joins Gregory after working in marketing at Backpacker Magazine for the last two-plus years. At Gregory, Romanella will assist in planning and execution of global marketing strategy, working closely with North American sales & marketing director Jim BoisD’Enghien. She also will coordinate production of marketing materials, oversee events and event sponsorship, and support a variety of other marketing initiatives.

While at Backpacker, Romanella worked out of Rodale’s New York City office, managing event sponsorship and programming at a national level, developing marketing collateral, working with the public-relations department, overseeing trade shows, and directing a variety of other marketing projects. After a year at Backpacker, she was promoted from marketing coordinator to associate marketing manager. Prior to Backpacker, Romanella worked at MTV Networks in both advertising sales and as a pricing and inventory analyst.
