Gordini announced key hires toward its commitment to responsible production and value-driven business best practices. The company appointed a new social and environmental impact director timed with expanding its sales and marketing team.
Hanna Reichel, formerly head of Gordini’s product strategy, assumes the new role. Brett Wagenheim recently joined Gordini as its marketing communications director, while Denver, CO-based Adventure Labworks will expand Gordini’s retail partnerships across the Mountain states.
“The expansion of our team is representative of our brand’s recent growth and the evolution of our priorities toward collective industry progress,” said David Gellis, Gordini president. “Hanna has already served as an integral member of our team for years. This new position enables her to focus on her passion for product integrity and system solutions.”
- With lifelong ties to the outdoor industry, Reichel will focus on traceability and stewardship in the supply chain. By emphasizing social responsibility, chemical integrity, and defining carbon and waste reduction targets, Reichel will help set company goals with practical action plans.
- Wagenheim brings a passion for outdoor recreation for promoting safety, access and education in the mountains. From mountain guiding and mountain rescue, teaching avalanche courses, and product, program and partnership work for Garmin International and Outward Bound, Wagenheim has a strong understanding of outdoor technology, field application, and consumer needs. As marketing director, her focus will be to share innovations and product education through marketing, managing the company’s athlete team and ambassador collective, building charitable programs, and supporting product development with market insights.
- Adventure Labworks also brings a deep knowledge of technical outdoor gear with its team’s experienced roster. “As we continue to expand our retail presence across the country, Gordini’s partnership with Adventure Labworks signifies a concentration on outdoor specialty markets where we are excited to grow consumer awareness and accessibility,” said Gellis. “What resonated greatly with us was the team’s dedication to working with select companies whose values and business practices are closely aligned.” Adventure Labworks represents Gordini in Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, New Mexico, and Montana. Its team includes Travis Rosen, George Knaggs, Dave Klopp, and Austin Howard.
